"Web 2.0 Software" is a search command you should be executing on a regular basis if you're serious about link building using sites that utilise the various web 2.0 software platforms or even just web 2.0 marketing in general.

“Web 2.0 Software”

“Web 2.0 Software” is a search command you should be executing on a regular basis if you’re serious about link building using sites that utilise the various web 2.0 software platforms or even just web 2.0 marketing in general.

You see, if you’re interested in building links to your website using web 2.0 sites, then keeping an eye on the web 2.0 software developments either via google alerts;

by entering the the search term “Web 2.0 Software”, so you get an email sent to your in box from google every time there’s a web 2.0 software development.

Or just by entering the search command “Web 2.0 Software” into the main search engines on a regular basis to see if there’s been any new web 2.0 software developments.

Will allow you to keep informed of any new web 2.0 software platforms that have been launched. You can then find yourself ‘ahead of the curve’ with any new web 2.0 software developments and build yourself a big list of web 2.0 sites using any new web 2.0 software platforms that have been launched.

You see, the good thing about most web 2.0 software platforms is that they leave a ‘footprint’, that can easily ‘be followed’ by web 2.0 marketers, this footprint allows marketers to collate a list of new or existing web 2.0 sites.

Most web 2.0 software will have a link similar to ‘powered by…’ or something along those lines automatically included in the pages that the web 2.0 software generates. You then use this new footprint to search for and find any new sites using the same web 2.0 software platform to power their sites.

You may ask why do web 2.0 software platforms leave these footprints on the bottom of the pages that their software generates for people like us to use and follow?

The answer is simple; back links!

The web 2.0 software platform creators will generally offer a free and a paid version of the web 2.0 software platform in question. The free version of the web 2.0 software platform will always include a link back to the home page of the web 2.0 software site.

They do this to build links to the home page of the web 2.0 software site in question, so they can themselves increase visitor traffic to their web 2.0 software platform.

People will use the free version of the web 2.0 software in question and install it on their domain, when the web 2.0 software is installed it generates additional back links to the web 2.0 site in question through the automatic generation of the footprint at the bottom of the page.

So although the web 2.0 software programmers are themselves being ‘savvy’ web 2.0 marketers. They’ll offer the web 2.0 software for free for people to use, but the catch is that the footprint with the link back to the web 2.o software site that created the platform has to be kept in place.

The web 2.0 software platform programmers will then offer a ‘paid’ version of the software, which generally allows the footprint with the back link to the web 2.0 software site to be removed. They value the software almost as a ‘lost’ back link to their site!

So there we have it, if you makesure that you do a “Web 2.0 Software” search on a regular basis, you can find these new web 2.0 software platforms as they come on the market, see if they leave a footprint – most usually do, then build yourself a unique list of web 2.0 software sites that you can use to promote your own site or use in a web 2.0 marketing campaign.

Infact, you get so many forum results doing the "Powered By ExpressionEngine" search, that you may want to refine it further by adding “registered users” to the end, to cut down the number of results and hopefully just deliver working forums.

“Powered By ExpressionEngine”

“Powered By ExpressionEngine” is a search that savvy people can do on Google to discover websites running the ExpressionEngine forum software. If you’re thinking that the above sounds cool, imagine what it’s like to be able to automate it… There’s no need to imagine, check this site out!

Powered By Expression Engine

Why would you search on “Powered By ExpressionEngine”? Quite simply because of backlinks. When doing a ”Powered By ExpressionEngine” search you’ll get a list of 10,000′s of sites running the ExpressionEngine software.

Infact, you get so many forum results doing the ”Powered By ExpressionEngine” search, that you may want to refine it further by adding “registered users” to the end, to cut down the number of results and hopefully just deliver working ExpressionEngine forums.

In which case the search command to use is as below.
“Powered By ExpressionEngine” ”Newest Members:”

This will then hopefully reduce the number of ExpressionEngine Forums that you get in your results and give you a more managable number of forums to start building your forum profile links with!

Of course, if you wanted to get specific and generate links with ExpressionEngine forums on .org, .edu, .gov, or perhaps even go country specific, by looking for forums in certain countries then I could search with .co.uk and get a result list like this for example.

http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8#hl=en&rlz=1R2SUNA_enGB340&q=site%3A+.co.uk+%22Powered+By+ExpressionEngine%22&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=6fcfcc50c300c1b7

People then after they’ve done their ”Powered By ExpressionEngine” search, can build their own list of sites that run on ExpressionEngine and go and join these forums and build link backs to their site.

Basically most of these sites that are returned on the search ”Powered By ExpressionEngine” will allow their forum members to post information about ‘them’ in their ‘profile’ page.

Sites returned in the ”Powered By ExpressionEngine” search will have ‘publically viewable’ profile pages. This means that if you’ve joined the forum in question. after doing the ”Powered By ExpressionEngine” search, your profile page can include links to your main website URL, deep link page, or even the url of the affiliate site that you’re promoting and that these links can be viewable not only by the public, but by search engine spiders!

Even better, when you’ve collated your own list of sites using the ”Powered By ExpressionEngine” search, your profile page’s links can sometimes be added using keyword anchor text. So you could link your site in your profile; but more importantly you can link your site using keyword based anchor text, on keyword terms you’ve discovered to be target keyword terms for your site… All on your publically viewable profile!

It gets even better! Now once you’ve added your link back details to your publically viewable profile after doing the ”Powered By ExpressionEngine” search, you can then ping the various profile pages that you’ve created on the various forums and get these pages indexed even faster.

Soon the search engine spiders will be ‘discovering’ your profile pages that you have added your back links to and adjusting / boosting your site’s ranking on these keyword terms accordingly. All because you started off with a “Powered By ExpressionEngine” search!

If you’re thinking that the above sounds cool, imagine what it’s like to be able to automate it… There’s no need to imagine, check this site out!

RSS Directories

RSS directories are increasing in number and are almost as popular these days as normal web directories.

RSS directories when first conceived were widely used initially by news sites to allow other sites to syndicate their news stories. These days a lot of other savvy webmasters are using RSS to promote their websites. RSS is being used to flag new forum headlines, auction listings, sales listings, site updates and a myriad of other online marketing uses. Therefore RSS directories are becoming a useful tool to webmasters.

The meaning of RSS (like many things these days online) has become unclear as the years have gone by. RSS may or may not be an acronym. RSS may stand for Really Simple Syndication. But others say it stands for Rich Site Summary and sometimes people say it stands for Rich Syndication Standard. All of these variations should basically matter very little to you, you should just use your RSS feed to assist in driving more traffic to your website… Read on!

The noted and celebrated creator of the first RSS directory is Netscape. Netscape’s RSS directory was released sometime around March 1999. This included a UserLand RSS application, which is called scripting news. Netscape stopped developing it, but UserLand picked up the torch and continued doing so. Another company, RSS-DEV Working Group also released their own version. Since the heady days of 1999 and the first RSS directory many new RSS directories have now launched!

RSS directories are sites that collate all RSS links and place them in different RSS categories for other applications to use. This is very similar to web directories, only instead of web sites, they contain RSS links. The joy of these RSS links for you as a webmaster is that as soon as someone clicks on your RSS feed link, your site will pop out of the website that’s syndicated your feed, or directory that list’s your RSS feed and they will be directed to the main source of the link – that being your site.

RSS provides loads of potential uses for those who’d like to use their RSS feeds for marketing or ecommerce purposes. Here are the things you can do with RSS feeds:

Create links from their website to yours via RSS feeds that they find in directories.
If you are selling or promoting something, web traffic is important. The more RSS directories you can add your RSS feed to, the more chance you will have of people seeing your RSS feed in one of the many RSS directories, and directly checking your site out.

These people then if they wish can add your RSS feed to their site via the RSS directories listings, then they would get updated details listed on their site from your site to theirs automatically every time you post something. You obviously benefit from the additional backlinks that this can potentially generate to your site and the direct traffic that may be generated from the other person’s website to yours.

Alternatively these people may add your RSS feed that they find in these directories to their own news aggregator and read your current posts directly on their desktop. Once again, by having your RSS feed listed in the various RSS directories you can generate additional site visitors direct from these people’s desktop.

Collating competitor analysis using RSS directories.
If you have a brand or a specific niche and you’d like to know what your competitors are doing, you may use their own RSS feed listing in the various RSS directories to see what they are up to. Get a direct link to their products, news or services so you’ll know first hand what they have come out with. With the data gathered you now can plan on how you can counter them. It’s a sneaky way to use RSS directories!

Tracking your own progress with RSS directories.
If you can check out your competitor, of course you’d like to check out too how your business or product is going too. With an RSS directory of your own, you can know how many people are interested in what you are selling or offering.

RSS Directories increases productivity.
Advertising and linking to your RSS feed on your own site as well as in RSS directories, let’s say for newsletters, adds efficiency to your company. If you use your RSS feed for sending out / listing your newsletters instead of mailing them to recipients, you’d potentially eliminate the possibility of your newsletter being classified as spam by users, or being sent in a closed mail account.

RSS Directories increases your efficiency.
There are a lot of websites or news articles published by others that could be beneficial to your brand, website or company. At times, you’d like to add them to your site and increase your site’s content. Without the use of RSS, you’d have to copy the entire thing down and note where you got it to rightfully attribute the content back to the publisher. If you use RSS, then the headline and part of the story shows up on your site. And this is an automatic process. If you use RSS feed aggregators on your site, you just include the feed from the directory and automatically, the headline appears on your site with very little effort on your part.

We all know that search engines love new content and using RSS directories to source new content that you can publish on you website will keep the search engine spiders coming back to your site for more!

So what next with RSS directories?
Some RSS directories may charge you to get listed in them. You’ll have to decide yourself on a RSS directories ‘worth’ to you if they charge to get your RSS feed listed in their directory. Fortunately though, most RSS directories offer free RSS directorylisting. If you are just starting up or if money is tight, you may like to check those out first. The more RSS directories you’re listed in, the more the possibility that you will be sending out information to the people interested in your website’s products or services.

The main and most powerful teason behind this is that people will only subscribe to the RSS feeds that they are interested in. If they subscribe to yours, they sure are a great potential ’target market’ for your website.

Disseminating information online has become so much easier with RSS. The technology provided a cost-effective way of transferring facts and figures out to the outside world and has given the website marketers an additional string to their web marketing ‘bow’! Using RSS and RSS directories should definitely be added to your website’s marketing approach. With it, you have an avenue of reaching more people so easily and efficiently.

So go on, submit your RSSto the the RSS Directories. At the very least you will increase your site’s back links and therefore potentially improve your site’s natural SERPs, your RSS feeds may get picked up by interested customers directly via the RSS directories, or syndicated on other webmaster’s sites.

Submit feed to Google

Wondering how to submit your feed to Google? Well don’t worry, there’s a number of ways to submit your feed to Google; or you could actually submit your RSS feed to loads of other RSS directories including Google’s all at the same time… Read on to discover more about this!

If you want to automatically submit your RSS feed, to numerous RSS directories including the ability to submit your feed to Google, you have two choices.

Web Traffic Genius software or RSS Feed Submit.

Below you’ll find five ways to submit your feed to Google. There’s bound to be more; but these are the most obvious ways to submit feeds to Google.

Submit Feed To Google Personalized Homepage

1/ You can submit your feed to your Google Personalized Homepage. The theory being that Google with have to spider and index your feed, (because you have made Google aware of your feed due to your feed submission to Google Personalized Homepage) to present it on your Google Personalized Homepage; and so you may as well submit feed to Google personalized homepage that you have set up for your Google account.

Submitting your RSS feed to Google personalized homepages is pretty straightforward. Obviously you first need a Google account before you can submit your RSS feed to Google personalized homepage, so if you haven’t already, you need to sign up for a personal account. Once you have done this you can log into your account.

Submit Feed To Google Personalized Home Page

To submit your RSS feed to Google homepage click on the ‘Add Stuff’ link and then look to the bottom left of the screen, you will see a link ‘Add feed or gadget”. Click this. You can now type in the url of your feed and just click add.

Once you’ve submitted your feed to Google by doing the above, new feeds added to your personal Google homepage will now start to appear showing the feed title and by default the 3 most recent items.

Submit Feed To Google Webmaster Tools

2/ You can submit your feed to Google Webmaster Tools. Again as above, submitting your feed to Google Webmaster Tools requires you to have a Google account. Then you will be allowed to submit feeds to Google Webmaster Tools.

Submit Sitemap Feed To Google

Once you’ve got an account, it’s easy to submit a feed to Google Webmaster Tools. Login and if you haven’t already, click the link to add a site. Once done, you’ll have to verify ownership of the site by following the instructions. Once completed this is how you submit feed to Google Webmaster Tools.

Go to ‘Dashboard’, go to ‘Site Configuration’, go to ‘Sitemaps’. Once you’re at Sitemaps, look for a link ‘Submit a sitemap’. Click this and add the URL of your feed. You can also add usual xml sitemaps, but this takes RSS feeds too and is an easy way to submit feeds to Google.

Submit Feed To Google Reader

3/ You can also submit feeds to Google Reader. Once again submitting your feed to Google Reader requires you to have a Google account, before you are allowed to submit a feed to Google Reader.

Submit Subcription Feed To Google

Once you’ve got an account, it’s really easy to submit a feed to Google Reader. Login if you haven’t already and then go to Google Reader.

Look to the top right and there should be a box ‘Add a subscription’. Click the box, paste in your RSS url and you’ve just submitted your feed to Google Reader!

Submit Feed To Google Blog Search

4/ Submitting your feed to Google Blog Search couldn’t be any easier. Navigate over to Google Blog Search and click to submit feed to Google. That’s it!

Submit Feed To Google Base

Submitting your feed to Google Base is real easy too. Before you can submit a feed to Google Base, as above create a Google account. Once done, navigate to Google Base and submit your feed.

Submit RSS feed questions are common. Most are regarding questions like; who should I submit my rss feed to? Which directories should I submit RSS feed to? Should I ping my blog’s RSS feed as well as submit it? Let’s see if we can answer any of these submit RSS feed related questions below.

Submit RSS Feed

Why should you submit your RSS feed? Every online marketer or webmaster soon realises that web traffic is essential to the success of their website. Therefore most webmasters or online marketers will try all methods of increasing the visitor traffic to their website and also come to the question of how best to submit RSS feed to build web traffic.

Most webmasters or marketers now use RSS Feeds to help promote their websites – and most websites automatically nowadays come with RSS feeds, detailing the content of the website in question. Because of this, savvy webmasters started playing with their RSS feed submissions and it soon became apparent that if an RSS feed was submitted to the RSS directories and aggregators, that the search engine spiders would pick up on the RSS feed that had been submitted, and then go on to spider the feed and index the site quicker. This means that because of the site having it’s feed submitted, the site gets more web visitors.

It therefore follows that submitting your RSS feed to Feed Aggregators, directories and the like is important to provide quick search engine spidering and indexing of the site via it’s RSS feed; and if the content is good, a steady stream of traffic to their website’s content pages.

Using your RSS feed is also a really great way of generating extra free backlinks from the RSS feed directories, RSS Aggregators and the like to your site; what follows next is an increase of visits to your web site due to all these extra back links. But in order to get your hands on your share of this website traffic ‘gold’, you have to first learn how to submit RSS feed from your website.

Another way that you will gain traffic and back links is from webmasters who are looking for content to add to their websites. These webmasters visit RSS directories and aggregators to find suitable content for their sites. When these webmasters find and add your feed to their RSS aggregators and place these related feeds on their web pages, you receive instant back links to your site. Just for having earlier submitted your RSS feed to the directory or aggregator in question! It pays in traffic and backlinks to submit your rss feed!

So with the submit RSS feed question, if you see it’s potential value in return for little effort is to decide whether to manually submit your RSS feed, or automatically submit your RSS feed.

If you want to automatically submit your RSS feed, you have two choices.

Web Traffic Genius software or RSS Feed Submit.

Both are excellent choices, one being a straight RSS feed submitter type of software, the other giving you the ability to submit RSS feeds in a different kind of way, check them out to see what I’m talking about…

If you want to manually submit RSS feed, then join my Directory Submitter newsletter list on the right hand side of this page. I will send you a list of directories to manually submit your RSS feed to. I will also send you an update ping list to submit the content of your RSS feed to the various news aggregators and blog and rss directories.

Of course you could try doing a little DIY submit RSS feed research and doing a ‘submit rss feed’ search in Google and the like to see if you can generate some additional sites yourself to submit your RSS feed to. Try this search in Google. site: .com “submit rss feed”

site: .com “Powered by phpBB”

Infact, you get so many results doing the site: .com “Powered by phpBB” search, that you may want to refine it further by adding “registered users” to the end, to cut down the number of results and hopefully just deliver working forums.

In which case the search command to use is as below.
site: .com “Powered by phpBB” “registered users”

People then after they’ve done their site: .com “Powered by phpBB” search, can build their own list of sites that run on phpBB and go and join these forums and build link backs to their site.

Basically most of these sites that are returned on the search site: .com “Powered by phpBB” will allow their forum members to post information about them in their ‘profile’ page.

Sites returned in the site: .com “Powered by phpBB” search will have ‘publically viewable’ profile pages. This means that if you’ve joined the forum in question after doing the site: .com “Powered by phpBB” search, your profile page can include links to your page, or the page you’re promoting and that these links can be viewable not only by the public, but by search engine spiders!

It gets even better! Now once you’ve added your link back details to your publically viewable profile after doing the site: .com “Powered by phpBB” search, you can then ping the various profile pages that you’ve created on the various forums and get these pages indexed even faster.

Soon the search engine spiders will be ‘discovering’ your profile pages that you have added your back links to and adjusting / boosting your site’s ranking on these keyword terms accordingly. All because you started off with a site: .com “Powered by phpBB” search!

Automatic Directory Submission

When we’re talking about automatic directory submission, we’re really talking about a whole host of potential methods that can be used to automate, or make or directory submissions more automatic.

We all know that directory submission is a worthwhile practice because it is an easy way to build back links to your website, using keyword titles of your choice. But manual directory submission takes a fair amount of time and preparation. Even if you have got the fine art of balancing between spreadsheet, text pages of your various titles and descriptions and the URL browser, the potential to do more automatic directory submission and automate some of the more repeatitive actions would be cool.

Tiger Submission

Now with automatic directory submission in mind, I am not talking about a fully automatic directory submission script installed on your server, that automates the joining of directories using a trickle feed like method completely in the background. This kind of automatic directory submission I have yet not tried, but if you’d like to research the topic a little further than try out Tiger Submitter.

The kind of automatic directory submission I’m thinking about is either using a website or a download that allows you to automate the whole directory submission process a little, by allowing you to see all your work at once; kind of like through a third party browser, allows you to rotate multiple titles, descriptions and keywords in relation to the site you’re submitting.

Think keywords, when thinking about potential titles and descriptions as you’ll want these to be keyword rich with terms relating to your website. This kind of automatic directory submission would keep tabs on your historic submissions and check to see if your site has been listed and potentially provide you with all manner of reports relating to your automatic directory submission.

There’s only two such sites that I have regulary used; one of each type.

Firstly the online / download version of an automatic directory submitter I would most use is DigiXmas. This is as ‘full’ as fully automated directory submission as I get! When you visit DigiXmas you’ll see what I mean.

DigiXmas

DigiXmas downloads as software onto your desktop and whenever you use it, it makes a live connection back to DigiXmas and ensures it’s directory lists are correct. The hardest part – if you could call it hard, is setting up your sites.

When setting up your sites on automatic directory submission tools, it’s worthwhile taking your time and filling in the few boxes asking about your site properly. You only ever have to do this once for each site, so it’s worth getting it right first time.

DigiXmas‘s automatic directory submission tool allows you to enter as many site titles and descriptions as you like. It’s worthwhile therefore doing some reseach and finding out the best keywords for your particular niche and working them into the titles and the descriptions that you use when first entering your site’s details.

Once you’ve done that, you get 200 free directories to submit your site to as a ‘test’. The site has free and paid versions. The free version giving you a fully working but limited by number of directories version of the paid DigiXmas. So you’ll get to try the software fully before deciding whether to upgrade.

You then press submit, or choose to submit to site in your own particular order by clicking custom submit.

When you first submit to directories using DigiXmas‘s automatic directory submission tool, the software will require you to do a few manual selections of categories and sub-categories in the directories; whilst it builds a ‘picture’ of your site to use when it moves into a more automatic directory submission mode.

Once it has asked you to answer enough category and sub-category questions and built a picture of your site, it will then move into a more automatic directory submission mode. It will search out the correct categories and sub-categories (based on the picture it has built of your site) automatically and in some modes it will even actually automatically submit your sites to the directories itself.

In other modes and depending on the relevant web directories preference you may still have to enter a category or sub-category choice, or confirm the submission by entering the captcha message.

Whilst it’s doing all of this DigiXmas is quitely recording what it’s done in the background and rotating your entered titles and descriptions and so building you back links to your website using keword based anchor text.

DigiXmas is truly a work of art automatic directory submission tool, and one worth taking the free 200 submissions for a trial.

The second brings me on to another kind of automatic directory submission tool called Link Directory Submitter.

Link Directory Submitter downloads onto your desktop and gives you around 2400 directories in it’s database. It does most things that DigiXmas does, but it’s not as automated. It allows you to create multiple accounts and even more import in our opinion, it allows you to save and create your own unique directory list by letting you add your own directories to the automatic directory submission software.

Link Directory Submitter

I have used the Link Directory Submitter upload facility a couple of times and have created my own unique lists of directories to submit to revolving around the blog directories and rss feed submission topic. If anyone wants a copy of these two additional directory lists for their own use, or to perhaps load into Link Directory Submitter itself and take advantage of listing their site or blog in directories contained on those two lists; just join the newsletter in the right hand column and they’ll be sent to you as a welcome message!

Which brings us right back to automatic directory submission and why we’re doing it or want to make our directory submission as automatic as possible… Backlinks! All those lovely one way link backs to our site from the directories, using anchor based keywords to link back to our site and therefore hopefully giving our natural search engine result page rankings a boost.

Some people we speak to are worried about giving automatic directory submissions a try because of it’s possible effects on their site’s ranking? The only people likely to be upset by automatic directory submission are the directory owners themselves. You won’t upset the search engines. Their spiders just see the link back, follow and index it.

Any search engine optimization expert will tell you that building links to your website is the most important and most effective way of getting better search engine rankings. Of course it’s good to optimise your on site factors as well, but once these are done the next step is building links to your website. This is something that has been known for many years, but either people don’t know about it, or don’t know how to go about it.

You have to build links to your website to have any chance of getting good search engine rankings. How these links point back to your site is a big factor you can manage or manipulate; by specifically suggesting keywords to use to link back to your site as anchor text. Thus boosting your rankings on the keywords used as titles.

Submitting to directories is one of the fastest and single-most effective means of improving your search engine rankings – they are an easy ready source of backlinks you can generate to your site quickly to help start getting your site indexed and ranked.

There is no doubt that automatic directory submission software can help you submit to 1000′s of directories quickly and easily.

site: .com “Powered by CNCat”

site: .com “Powered by CNCat” is a search command used by those wanting to find potential link directories who are using the directory script named ’CNCat’ to power their site.

‘CNCat’ is a very popular directory linking script, used by 1000′s of web directories and therefore if you do a search in google using the command site: .com “Powered by CNCat” you’ll get 1000′s of potential mini powered link directories returned in the results.

site: .com “Powered by CNCat”

By executing the site: .com site: .com “Powered by CNCat” search you can also build your own list for directories to add your link to.

Of course one thing to watch for when looking for link directory sites using the site: .com “Powered by CNCat” command is that many of these directories are non English speaking, but many do allow entries from non English speaking sites. Also not all are one way link directories, and with some you’ll have to return the favour by reciprocal linking back to the CNCat directory in question.

Nether-the-less site: .com “Powered by CNCat” searches may reveal some potential linksbacks to your site with good ‘pr’ value – depending on how much you decide the linkback is worth in terms of giving them a reciprocal link back is entirely up to you.

Of course, if you wanted to get specific and generate links with directories on .org, .edu, .gov, or perhaps go country specific and look for directories in certain countries then I could search with .co.uk and get a result list like this for example.

http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8#hl=en&rlz=1R2SUNA_enGB340&q=site%3A+.co.uk+%E2%80%9CPowered+by+CNCat%E2%80%9D&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=2c5e65e68fdfb92c

By using the site: .com “Powered by CNCat” command and it’s variations, you can build a list of web directories to submit to that are unique to you.

This could be part of a manual directory submission process that you go through to increase your site’s search engine rankings, by gaining additional backlinks on your chosen keywords to your site using the manual directory submission process to dictate the anchor text that sites use when linking back to you.

Hopefully by doing this post I may also catch a few visitors to Directory Submitter myself, who stumble across my site when doing a site: .com “Powered by CNCat” search themselves!
